Wyoming Bar Reciprocity
Wyoming Rule 302 governs admission on motion. Wyoming uses a hybrid model: applicants must have been primarily engaged in the active practice of law for five of the past seven years (generally ≥300 hours per year) and must have been admitted by exam in a UBE jurisdiction or in a jurisdiction that admits Wyoming lawyers under similar conditions.
Admission on Motion (Hybrid)
Because eligibility depends on both practice criteria and the home jurisdiction’s treatment of Wyoming (or UBE status), this page does not include a simple YES/NO reciprocity map. Confirm Rule 302 and Board guidance before applying.
| Eligibility depends on Rule 302 practice criteria plus UBE admission or reciprocal treatment of Wyoming lawyers |
